Only few hours to go until we celebrate Father's Day. I think it's fair to say, that some of us, me included! are always guilty of not knowing when is Father's Day. It's usually somewhere in the region of a week or 2 weeks before the date, that someone at some point will remind us. This special day is not noticed right up until is very near. Does this mean we love our Fathers any less because we never remember this day? Does this means we don't care? Of course not, it does not implies we dont care. It simply means, very little hype is created around Fathers Day compare to other days that are celebrated all around the year. Have I still got time to buy a gift? That depends. Since Father's Day is not enjoying the same status as other celebrated days in the calender. We think Father's Day should be a national holiday for this reason. Tomorrow fathers can expect, at best, full attention, a gift, breakfast in bed and handmade card and, at worst, the day to be completely ignored.
